I’ve never been that impressed with the Democrats, and I don’t expect to be(A Kucinich/Feingold 2012 Ticket would have me eating crow on that one). But that doesn’t lessen my disgust and fear of the fucking Pepublicans. With Bush/Kerry, or even McCain/Obama, it’s easy to say, “oh, they aren’t that different, give me some real fucking choices!”

Hey, if McCain really was serious about the economy, and he wanted to pull an ace out of his sleeve that would have energized lots of people, and not just one portion of the Republican base, he could have picked Ron Paul as his running mate…
But he isn’t serious, he isn’t going to shake anything up, which is why he picked another right wing puppet.
If nothing else, you should be insulted by his rejection of Ron Paul.
And remember, this is a referendum on Iran. McCain is ready to bomb the shit out of them(where is the McCain that was interviewed in Why We Fight?)
Obama sure as hell isn’t going to war unless Iran, or the other two branches of government, force his hand.
Right now, we are bleeding to death, and McCain would twist the knife. I haven’t drank any kool-aid, I don’t think Obama will perform a faith healing and make it all better. But he’ll at least slap a bandaid on it, sit us on our asses, and keep us from being too self-destructive….
