The more I learn, the more I think she should be just taken out in the street and shot like a rabid dog…

I’ve never been that impressed with the Democrats, and I don’t expect to be(A Kucinich/Feingold 2012 Ticket would have me eating crow on that one). But that doesn’t lessen my disgust and fear of the fucking Pepublicans. With Bush/Kerry, or even McCain/Obama, it’s easy to say, “oh, they aren’t that different, give me some real fucking choices!”

But Palin/Biden? Who do you want to take over Dick Cheney’s reins of unlimited power?

Ralph Nader is once again running for president. It’s damned frustrating, not so much for the spoiler aspect, I think a lot of independents are like me. They want to vote for the most progressive candidate—that can actually win!

It’s mostly just wasteful, he can’t ever win, and it’s just distracting him from lots of important shit that he could have an impact with. Nader should be doing what he does best, making sure that the Chinese aren’t sending over container ships full of lead toys and anti-freeze tainted toothpaste.

But this video that spoofs Anonymous’ Announcement to Scientology, does a far better of talking Nader out of it than I can.

There totally should be a “Draft Nader” effort. But to get him to run for the Senate, that’s a campaign he can win, and a position he could be effective in!

Conrad and Phil’s uncle, Joe Gimse, has narrowly beat longtime incumbent, Minnesota Senate majority leader, Dean Johnson. I am totally clueless as to how a novice Republican like Joe took out a seasoned Democrat in Kandiyohi, a former bastion of the DFL. I guess having the endorsement of those fucking douchebags at The Taxpayers League of Minnesota counts for something.Conrad, he’s the spitting image of you in twenty years, I guess it’s on your shoulders to save the Gimse name!
